Festive Thoughts
Hey Everyone,
This month i am in my hometown, back to my own world before new semester start in Uni.
Today marked a momentous occasion for Hindus worldwide, Lord Rama has returned to Ayodhya and like everywhere in India, my hometown Kalka is filled with so many festivities.
First i have to admit and i am not a religious person and prior to today I didn’t even pay much attention to why this case of Ayodhya has been hyped up so much, to me it is nothing but politics, and foolishness of masses to blindly follow a political agenda.
But seeing so much festivities today I kind of understood, though it may be political the joy of people in there hearts is real.
Witnessing that radiant smile on many made me realize that the temple may be a political agenda, but all political agendas also has some ground reality of what people desire.
The entire country joined in the celebration when desire meet completion. Streets were lined with food stalls, parades, and music, turning the day into a grand festival. I’m grateful to have been in my home country for this occasion.
Here’s to the beautiful smile of Lord Rama that brought so much joy to us all.
